Enter the PhysioMed Womens Tri or Du

Good on you, there is real commitment to yourself once you enter an event.  This gives you the nudge out the door  to start your training or learn some new skills to get  you the finish line.  I cannot explain the buzz you will get by taking on the event and crossing the finish line.

Both the Triathlon and Duathlon have wave starts. The date order that we receive entries determines your start position. The earlier you enter the earlier you start. (Considering the current Covid levels please see our plan below)

That means in the Triathlon there will be 5 start together then each 60 seconds 5 more start etc.  In the Duathlon there will be 20 per 60 seconds.

Entry fees for Individual, New Mum's and Buddy Up is $50 until the 23rd March and $70 from 24th March
Entry fees for teams is $66 until the 23rd March then $86 from 24th March till 28th March

You can enter and pay the entry fee with your credit card (these entries are collected on our behalf by The Timing Team as we do not have credit card facilities)
or enter and pay with Internet Banking
or print an entry form and post or deliver to us.
(if you would like an entry form posted to you please contact us on info@womenstri.co.nz with your address or text Barb on 027 271 9721)

Covid Plan for 28th March 2021
We will do everything possible to ensure that the PhysioMed Women's Triathlon & Duathlon happens on the 28th March but should the Level status change this is our plan:

Level 1 -  The PhysioMed Women's Triathlon and Duathlon is all good to go with the normal guidelines of contact tracing, hand washing procedures, respecting personal distance and staying home if you are not well.  We will keep fingers crossed that we can stay Covid Community free.  Details will be updated from now until the event.
Level 2 -  The event will become a Duathlon for everyone as we will have transition zones and start times to create smaller groups. More details will be sent out if this is necessary closer to the event.
Level 3 or Level 4 - The event will be postponed and all entries will be transferred over to the new date or If the event cannot continue within a reasonable time frame there will be a refund  of your entry fee less $5 to cover admin costs.

Well done! - Now that you have entered what about your training?  If you are looking for company and to meet other fab women you are welcome to come along and join in the organised weekly training sessions in swimming, biking & running/walking.   Don't put off coming along because you are not fit enough.. These groups are for all  levels of ability, experience and fitness.  It is all about  encouragement, support and friendship.

Barb Millar is a REP's Registered Trainer, a triathlon and individual disciple coach.  Their is no charge for the run/walk or bike weekly sessions

You do not need to be training with Barb Millar to come along, if you are working with any of the fantastic Personal Trainers or coaches we have in Christchurch that is just fine. These groups are just about bringing women together for regular training.
