Welcome to the PhysioMed Women's Triathlon & Duathlon 

Join us at the Selwyn Aquatic Centre on the 9th February 2020 for the PhysioMed Women's Triathlon & Duathlon. 

2020 is the 25th year of the event and we are looking forward to a fabulous day celebrating the success of every single woman that crosses the finish line.   

 

Our challenge to you is to give triathlon or duathlon a go - especially if you haven't experienced the fun of a multi discipline event before.  The distances are achievable, you choose the Triathlon or Duathlon, run or walk, individual or team. 

We love to encourage and celebrate being active as part of life, taking on challenges and being a role model to all Whanau.  There is an age limit of 13yrs as an individual for safety.  The "Buddy Up" Short Course Tri or Du is for 10-12yr old to take part with an adult  buddy.  The only rule is you stay together for the whole of the event. Entry fee same as individual for both.   This enables you to encourage and support your daughter, granddaughter, niece or friend's youngster. 

Our other favourite category is the New Mum's Category.  If your precious baby is under 18 months then you complete the triathlon or duathlon and take baby in their buggy in the last run. Short or Long course. Dad is more than welcome to join you on that leg as well.

First is an additional event entry "Team" recognition.
This is about how many fab women you can enter either the individual or team section under the same "Team Name" 

You don't need to work together/be family or any other rules.  Just encourage each other to enter and fill in the box for your team name.

There will also be a leader board on here and
Facebook with the total entries per Team Name.  

As a team your task is to encourage & motivate each other, train together whenever possible, jump over any hurdles life puts in your way and finally have a great day on the 9th Feb. 

You can have your own bike rack space in transition and put up a gazebo in the finish area for your celebration

Second is the brand new
"Get Me There" 14 Week Challenge


This challenge is especially designed for first time Triathlon or Duathlon or if you have entered an event before and struggled with motivation, knowledge and the fun factor. 

It is going to be a fun and the big bonus is support, fitness, knowledge and getting to make friends.
