Road Cycling Group - Every Sat 8:30am
The cycling group is for everyone of any fitness level.  You don't need to have a road bike.  Mountain bikes or all terrain bikes are fine.  We split into groups depending on fitness levels and ability.  Groups distances range from 10-15km, 20-30km and 40km plus.  The rides are generally flat, they may include the Halswell Downs Hills.  There will be a hill group for the more experienced riders from September 2010 (more details about this will be on this page by September 1st).

We are a hardy group of ladies and we ride all year around except when it is pouring with rain!  Yes the weather over July has been cold but we layer on our thermals, jackets, gloves, tights, beanies under helmets etc and off we go.  We have had some fantastic rides and finishing with coffee and muffins at Silverback Cafe at Cracroft makes it all worth while.!

We meet at main entrance to Princess Margaret Hospital Saturday mornings for an 8:30am start.

The route is decided on the morning depending on weather.  The purpose of these rides is to create an opportunity to ride with others, pick up tips from each other, gain confidence on your bike and have fun while getting fit.
